All my life I have been in pursuit of a dream: To explore, capture and feel as much as I can of every inch of this planet and share such experiences with everyone in it.
These utterly growing needs to explore, to see, touch, smell, know!
The very same way a good photographer doesn’t get satisfied with the results on any photo, neither do I get enough of travelling and keep learning. To look forward on ways to touch people’s hearts with the wonder of the simple things that make our visit worthwhile.
I want to get you all there and I want to bring it all to you.
It all started with East Timor, I guess. I travelled prior to that, but going to the other side of the world completely alone with a bag full of computer science know-how to share with students who (in my case) did not even speak Portuguese or any other language than the Bahasa… The spark got enourmous!
I made an awesome set of new friends, learnt from my students while trying to teach them, learnt from the locals on every different district I visited... this is something nobody can pay, from the human to cultural and professional perspective.
From there, India followed. There is still a lot to get to know, so far I covered some miles between Mumbai, Goa and Kerala, but I wanna go there backpacking and get deeper into the spirit.
It didn’t stop, it didn’t even slow down! :)
There is no such thing as "The Journey of My Life". Nor do I believe there will ever be, as their beauty relies in the contrasts and differences. Each one shows unique aspects of this whole hearted planet in need to be loved, in desperate struggle against destruction. But to Embrace the North Pole peacefulness, the silence, rough nature in its most pure state, ambrosia for one’s soul... this is definitively a once in a lifetime experience!
In the end... there is only so much I can tell, as words are not even close to enough when it comes to explain what this experience means to me as a human being.
From my heart echoes the deep desire to follow this quest. From yours, the good will to let me go.
